Not as advertised! You'll have to trim them to fit in a wide-mouth jar.

Your description "synthetic filter discs fit snugly in any wide-mouth 90mm diameter jug commonly used by modern cultivators" is a lie. Don't waste your time on them if you don't need to trim them. It also has a shiny side that they don't mention or describe how to use.

More than 90mm. Filtration should be good.

Definitely over 90mm, doesn't fit metal rings or plastic lids properly. They are much more flexible than conventional plastic filter discs and are shiny on one side. You can easily bend them as you need them, but also not 90mm as advertised. I'll see how the filtering works, but I don't think they aren't for nasty stuff.

makes it so easy suitable for filtering

Wow. It's so effective and easy to use and reuse. Ensures gas exchange and protects against pollution. I modify them for my needs. I use a paper punch and punch a hole in the middle. Fill the hole with RTV Red High Temperature Sealant to make the hole self-sealing. Wax paper does not stick when drying. Pressure can sterilize my mushroom mycelium solution in 15 minutes max at 15 pounds of pressure otherwise the sugar will burn and the mycelium will not grow. Let cool down. Then wipe the port…
