just received. The end of the turner is beveled to be thin on the edge to slide easily under food. Sturdy, there is a small green stopper/holder halfway to the handle to keep the lathe from falling into the pan. I look forward to using it. I recommend.

This rating relates to the pusher. It stretches well and won't scratch dishes BUT the handle comes loose when you pull it out of the potato. You'll need to keep your finger on the loop under the green v-neck to hold it together.

Edge holds up well. Easily flip an egg without breaking it. Ergonomically correct. Angle if just right. I also bought a $2 lathe at the same time. While it turns eggs just as well, the angle is awkward and not great for anything heavier like homemade fries.

I bought them to mash up potatoes and ground beef for chili or other dishes. I have new non-stick cookware and I don't want to scratch it. The old-fashioned metalworker made it very easy for himself. They didn't even seem to reach the top of the pan. The meat was evenly distributed but certainly not separated.
