Beautiful appearance and flexible, durable rope

Our sea fence looks great. Very stretchy and beautiful aged color. The only thing that surprised us was that it shrinks a lot when it gets wet but relaxes again when the sun hits it and dries it out. Nice quality.

Good quality rope. - Accessories

Another quality rope from TW Evans. Not the best, but one of the highest quality ropes you can get and at a price to match. It's important to note that it is true to size and doesn't feel cheap like other ropes. I would buy again if needed and recommend.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • A bit of variety

Excellent rope: tarpaulin and ties

excellent packaging. The rope was not only tied like in the picture, but also wrapped in strong plastic and tied down. Really good job on the presentation. The rope is exactly what I was looking for, not oily or at least not so oily that it marks anywhere. Looks perfect for what I needed it for.

Cons
  • so-so

Strong rope for rope swings.

This bundle of rope allowed me to make 3 simple rope swings for our kids and I still have some rope left. The rope will shrink after a good rain but will stretch again with use. The rope is non-abrasive, so there are no complaints about splinters or the stiffness of small holds. I would use it again if we needed another swing.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Not as thick as others

Great for hanging a porch swing

I used this 3/4 rope to hang 2 porch swings. It needs 16 feet on each side of the swing (32 feet per swing) to give you some room to adjust the height and enough rope to tie knots to hold the swing. The rope is very strong and easy to work with. This rope worked great and gave me the look I wanted.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Fairly good

3/4 " manila rope for tarps and tie downs

Haven't used this rope yet but will use it in the spring (prepared by fluffing up and pinning the ends to keep them from fraying). 3/4" "Manila had a load rating of over 900lb. I will be chopping and dropping a large white pine on site later in Spring 2019, the pine is leaning forward so I will be using rope to guide the cuts to drop the pine between the trees I want to rescue.

Pros
  • Cool
Cons
  • Big and bulky

Exactly what I was looking for and at a great price :)

The kids wanted a vintage waterfront rope swing. This rope was exactly what they had imagined. Thick, strong and rustic appearance. Perfect for the pressure treated plate they used. The price was low too. All in all (including the cost of a 2 x 8 x 10 board we cut to size) we have enough materials to make 5 swings if we wanted, all for under $100. So, 1 swing is about $20 :)

Pros
  • Great Price
Cons
  • Repair
