WHAT CAN I SAY? - my new review

What can I say? It works. It's not that often that I use my tablet for videography or photography, but this thing is here when I need to do so.Despite me not using it often, I would get one again, just in case

Pros
  • Fit perfectly on my Asus tablet. I'll have to wait to see how long it holds up, being plastic.
Cons
  • Poorly made tripod mount

A Perfect Solution!

This little device holds the I-pad phone perfectly on a regular camera tripod. It hold the phone perfecly steady so we can make Face Book Live Christian sermons for other to watch and enjoy. Thank you very much!

Pros
  • The mount is incredibly easy to attach and detach from your tablet, making it easy to switch between devices
Cons
  • May add extra bulk to the camera bag or backpack

Worked goodfor ehat i needed it for, but fits kinda loose, had to make sure i did not move the tri pod or it would fall out the tightener could be reconstructed to work better.

Pros
  • Easily attach & secure mount your tablet to any Tripod without any tool
Cons
  • Unstable mount

Better than a spring clamp option by a mile

I can verify that this works with the smaller iPad Pro and a Tab S. The j hook arms adjust and then lock down. This is better than spring loaded clamps that puts pressure on the tablet and create a risk catapulting the tablet out of your hands it your grip slips. The larger foam pad comes off if a thicker case is used and you need the room. That is a good thing. If it comes off with a thin case setup, double stick tape solves that problem. Sure it is plastic, which is crap, if it was metal it…

Pros
  • It is a great option for people who want to use their tablet hands-free
Cons
  • Not good for action shots

great device good for me

My grand daughter loves it. She uses to make videos to post on line. She was having a hard propping up her tablet to make her videos. I had a tripod but needed the adapter to hold her tablet. Now she has no problem. She is one "Happy Camper". Thank you so much.

Pros
  • ‎7 Inches
Cons
  • Poor customer support

A Small Wonder! good for me

One of the best investment I've made! It's small, light weight, and holds a small RCA tablet so I can use it as a monitor for my DSLR. I don't know how I was able to survive without this gem!Very satisfied customer.

Pros
  • The mount is a great option for people who want to use their tablet as a monitor while editing videos or photos
Cons
  • May not work well with all types of tripods, binoculars or telescopes

Great for Facetime sessions

We do a lot of Face-Time video chats using the iPad. This device attaches easily to the iPad and then to either a table top or full size tripod, both of which I already have. Makes it a lot easier to place the iPad in a secure position so we can sit in front of it for our Face time sessions. Simple and effective. Great invention. Adequate quality, super price. Would be great for iPad video recording of events also.

Pros
  • Excellent
Cons
  • May not fit all tablets securely

Tablet mount - NOT a tripod!

Not sure why Ebay keeps all these old reviews on here that clearly are for another item (a full tripod!) I am reviewing the tablet mount. This is really 3 1/2" stars - for the price it is decent. Pros: It is well-padded. It does secure my 7" tablet pretty well. Cons: No landscape option for the 7" (though my Ebay tripod can handle that just fine). The holder blocks the camera on the back of the tablet. So either you have to use the front-facing camera (if you have one) or somehow…

Pros
  • It is incredibly lightweight and compact, making it easy to carry around
Cons
  • Limited compatibility with different camera models

Used with my iPad Mini 3rd Gen--I like it!

This Tablet connecter is well made! The quality feels really good and is functional. I'm using it with an iPad Mini 3rd Gen. TIP: This will NOT fit the 4th gen Mini in "Portrait" Mode since Apple made it a tiny bit taller. It WILL fit in "Landscape" Mode. since the iKross connecter at full extension fits the mini 1/2/3rd gen snug. I won't be able to use the mini with a case while using the iKross. That's how snug of a fit it is. You could remove the foam if you wanted to make it

Pros
  • With this mount, you can take professional-quality footage and photos on the go
Cons
  • May add extra stress to the tripod legs

Fits and Secures the iPad Pro 9.7 " perfectly

Well built device for stabilizing my iPad Pro 9.7". Connects easily to my professional grade Velbron Tripod as it holds the iPad Pro in any direction.Perfect for shooting professional grade Videos and photos with the iPad Pro. Exactly the mount anyone would need to make stabilized videos.I highly recommend the use of this mount.

Pros
  • Electronics
Cons
  • Doesn't come with a warranty

Great tablet holder

Great tablet holder. Works excellent in landscape mode, but is a bit short for a Tab3 8 size in portrait orientation. However, a rubber band and I am back in business!

Pros
  • Supports holding most 6-7 inch cell phone phablets and tablet in both portrait & landscape, 7-10.1 inch tablet can only put in landscape orientation.
Cons
  • May not stay in place while filming or photographing

Perfect fit: my feedback

It was easy to attach to my tripod and was just as simple securing teh iPad to the adapter. Thanks for attention. Very pleased

Pros
  • A little flimsy but for the price it was worth it.
Cons
  • Mounting bracket may require constant adjustment

Blocks flash on samsung 10 " tab S

Used on a Samsung Galaxy10" tab S tablet. This max's out the adjustment range of the mount I also completely blocks the camera's flash lense. This makes the mount useless for most photo work.Update - Got in contact with iKross and they suggested I tell Ebay to take it back. No offer to try another mount nor were they interested in understanding what the problem is. I will not buy again from this mfg. even though I was able to use my dremel tool with a sanding drum to modify the notch and…

Pros
  • It is perfect for people who want to use their tablet as a second screen while working on their computer
Cons
  • Limited flexibility to switch between tablets and cameras

Does the trick - my new review

This was just what I needed to turn my tablet into a tripod-mounted camera for making videos. Nice price and works quite well with my Kindle. I'm satisfied.

Pros
  • It is incredibly easy to use and can be set up in seconds
Cons
  • Limited range of motion for cameras

Works like a charm with my tablet.

Using it to Skype to a player in another city, works great Mounted right on the tripod and will put it where she normally sits at the table.

Pros
  • It is perfect for vloggers and people who work in media
Cons
  • Limited tilt and pan adjustability

Item works fine and is easy to use

Item works fine and is easy to use. Plastic is thick enough that I think it should hold up well. My only issue is that it isn't the most stable. I have it on a Tripod and when I move the stand this vibrates for a bit so I have to let it settle before recording. Great for the price though and if you're not moving it much or have a very light touch when you touch a tablet to record it should work fine.

Pros
  • Compatible with 7-10.2 inch devices, it can be used with almost any tablet
Cons
  • Doesn't fit all types of tripods

Great function at a terrific price

Dandy Dandy mount. Fits on top of a camera tripod; screws right on. Clamps to about any size tablet easily. Instant home video system. (Too bad forward-facing cams aren't more powerful). But this is what it advertises to be and works quite well.

Pros
  • The IKross tablet tripod mount adapter is incredibly versatile
Cons
  • Limited adjustability for different tablet sizes

Gets the job done best in my review

I purchased this product to do stop motion animation. It is lightweight and easy to use. I do not know how durable it will be in the long run because the locking mechanism seems a little flimsy because it is just made out of plastic; however, it might not be. I am going to take the gamble and order a few more to use for a group project.

Pros
  • The mount is made from high-quality materials, ensuring it is durable and long-lasting
Cons
  • Can't handle sudden movements or jerks

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Cheap mount - won't stand up to much handling.

This is an extremely cheap tablet/phone holder for use with a tripod. It is made of light plastic with foam attached. It is not a solid device, though it works. It does not come with anything other than what is shown. No screws, no tripod mounts.

Pros
  • ‎4.5 ounces
Cons
  • Time-consuming to set up

. a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7 " tablet and works like a dream

I used it in landscape mode with a Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 7" tablet and works like a dream. The foam thingies give it good grip and I was able to use my tablet on tripod without anxiety of tipping over.

Pros
  • The mount is incredibly easy to use, even for beginners
Cons
  • Limited control over tablet's positioning
