This tripod adapter is easy to work with - you just expand it to fit the size of your iPad and then lock it in place. The lock function is a quarter-turn dial - very easy to adjust and secure. It works very well with a tripod, you just connect it with the 1/4 screw mount.

It does fit an iPad mini, but only in the horizontal position. The clamp does not open wide enough to have the iPad in the vertical position. Also, the rubber pads are not glued on real well. One of mine came off removing the iPad from the mount. Also, you may find that if your iPad is in any kind of protective case, the mount will be very tight to put on. I gave it three stars based on price, not performance.

First one arrived broken. Ebay refunded and I ordered new one. It held my iPad Pro 9.7" securely and allowed me to attach it to a tripod for the eclipse. Didn't get good pictures, but that's not the iKross's fault!

The mount was shipped quickly and arrived in good condition. It fits the iPad fine. However, I can't use it with the tripod, because of the openings in the base part that screws onto the tripod. A little button next to the mounting screw on the tripod gets caught in the openings, so the mount can't be attached. I can't return it, per your policy, so it is a wasted purchase. Do not purchase for use with ZOMEI professional tripod, or you will be disappointed.

It works and does what it says it will, but since it covers much of the touchpad, it's a bit difficult to make changes, stop, start, etc. while video recording. A better design would have been to make it akin to a picture frame so there would be greater access to the touchpad.

I have used the mounting adapter twice on a standard tripod and with my iPad Mini 4. I'm very pleased with the adapter. It's sturdy and does a fine job.

I've been recording my kids hockey games for the past year with an iPad Pro. I would stand all game in the stands and my back would be killing me after the game completed. I never thought of a mounting adapter for my tripod for the iPad. Out of curiosity I took a look on the web and found there are all kinds. I purchased this one to try and it's working out great. Now I can sit and record without the back ache.

Very nice tablet holder, couldn't ask for more. Mounts securely to tripod and all four mounting points and the back of the tablet are cushioned with thick, dense foam rubber. Knob to back of the mount locks when you have the mount adjusted to hold your tablet securely. Very well made product at a good price.

This worked perfect with my 8" tablet. I connected this mount to a tripod I also got on Ebay EbayBasics 60-Inch Lightweight Tripod with Bag (which was also fantastic) to create a DIY Photo Booth for my Christmas Party. I highly recommend this product!

Bought this to attach to a tripod to hold a 10.5" iPad pro. iPad slides in super easy, just turn the back knob to lock. Holds secure. Has nice foam grips to avoid any scratches or damage to the iPad. The plastic is light but thick enough to last with normal use. Well worth it.
