Tactical MOLLE Smartphone Holster Review

This is NOT the belt holder I use for everyday use, but I use it when my phone MUST be safe, protected and clean! When you open the velcro flap, it's so loud you'll be kicked out of the theater. It's noisy! I use my regular belt clip when I'm not working. Boating, landscaping and the like when my iPhone 6 needs to be SAFE and STAY CLEAN I use it. My iPhone 6 is in an Otter case and fits the 'large' size exactly, just how I want it. Works GREAT for what I use it for.

After a long search for a good case for my smartphone, this is the best I've found in years. I've tried custom leather and finished goods and looked at many options. I switched to this holster after breaking the belt clip on the *second* hard case that I destroyed in a year and a half of owning this phone. Fits my Moto G(4) as stated in the product description and there was enough space inside to put a gel case on my phone and it still fit well. The holster is a little more comfortable to wear on the belt than with hard-shell cases, but I have to adjust the position of the holster a bit when I buckle up in the car. Excellent phone case, I hang mine on my belt. Try threading the belt through one strap, then through the belt loop, and then through another strap if you don't want it to get in the way. Any hip is good for this. Much stronger than the faux leather I had. Vertical orientation uses gravity (as well as the hook/loop bar) to hold the phone. This is a very durable bag, just what I needed for bush trekking. There is a 4.5" x 2" velcro strap that keeps the flap closed. It's a bit tedious to open, but since you pull to release, it's unlikely to get stuck and the phone falling out. I'm sure my phone will survive without a problem. The belt slot is large and a 2 inch belt fits easily. The downside, and why I gave it one star, is that the belt loops fit a 4.5 inch wide belt. I bought this for my Sonim XP 5700 (Brick) phone. I had to put a small piece of foam on the bottom to give the phone some lift, but other than that it fits perfectly. Ham radios fit nicely in the case, although you can make a cutout for your own antenna. This case works with Baofeng and similar radios even when a microphone is connected.
