Excellent value for money

Excellent quality and fast delivery. Works great with Shimano Deore LX and Sram X5 9 speed setup. So far it looks good and durable. Very happy with the purchase!

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Hard to say

Good quality transmission components

If you are replacing the chain more than once every 20 years, this is the way to go. I usually change the chain at least every 6-8 months. That's why this chain is good.

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons

The chain is already tensioned - not good!

If the tolerance is 0.75, discard the chain. This "NEW" chain is already at 0.75. I measured it with my chain tool when I got it. I sent it back. (This will wear out your chainrings.)

Pros
  • One year trial period
Cons
  • Quality

Full of junk is good for cycling

The chain lock that was sent is full of junk and I fell off while mountain biking. And then the next night when I replaced it with a new master link. The real chain exploded. I used a 10 speed chain on a 1 x 10. Unless you intend to drive a few miles to your car, don't buy a chain.

Pros
  • Weight
Cons
  • Has defects

Works great at 7 speeds

It was hard to find a chain with an old fashioned connector instead of the quick connectors that many offer. I had to return several other brands of quick connectors as they were all substandard and defective. Yes, you need a basic chain fitting tool, but if you're changing your own chain I can't imagine your toolbox not containing one.

Pros
  • Nice packaging
Cons
  • Protection

Doesn't work with 10 speed

I had to admit that this chain doesn't work with 10 speed, but I just looked at the headline that said 10 speed. The description says 6,7,8,9,10 speed? That does not exist! There is a size for a speed. The same size is used for 6, 7 and 8 speeds, but all individual sizes are used for 9, 10, 11 speeds. This chain is 0.7mm smaller than a regular 10-speed chain, so you can now run it at 10-speed. . I hope I can use it for an 8 speed setup.

Pros
  • Excellent design
Cons
  • Upgradeable

Works well but doesn't last long

This chain is good value for money and shifts well. I haven't experienced any setbacks. After about 10 months of frequent but not epic road trips and at 66, I'm not pedaling like I used to. I noticed a noise when driving in middle gears. So I checked the transmission. and the chain is worn (stretched) by more than 1%. Chain life was less than 1/4 of what I've experienced with Shimano or KMC chains. So you get what you pay for. I recommend this chain for light or casual riders, for the more…

Pros
  • Great product
Cons
  • Very expensive

This is a chain. and it works initially, BUT.

To be clear, this is about the THIRD price of the brand chain, so the purchase was more of an experiment. I just installed this chain on my bike and so far it's working but I can't comment on its durability. The mini chain breaker tool was missing or just not included and I thought it might be a nice and easy tool for my bike repair kit so that's a shame. To be honest, this tool was potentially worth the $12 experiment, so I'm a little annoyed by its absence. Also, when I first install my chain

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • Some difficulties

Not a 10-speed chain, poor quality

As other reviewers have pointed out, the chain size standard for 6/7/8-speed is different from 9-speed, which is also different from 10-speed. This is not a 10 speed chain. I didn't realize it until I started wearing it. The first thing that struck me was how easy it is to break the chain to remove a few links. No effort was required with my chain break tool. The KMC and SRAM chains I usually use require me to turn the chain tool VERY HARD before they break. This got me thinking about this…

Pros
  • delivery was very fast
Cons
  • Crumpled
