Fantasy Alphinaud Leveilleur Figure by Taito Review

When the item arrived today the box was already badly damaged. Also, there was very little packaging for both the figure box and the figure inside. The book fell away from Alfino's hand, but luckily that was all that was broken. If you care about product packaging and making sure the box is like new or almost like new, this isn't the place to order. Was very disappointed with the way it was delivered although the figure itself is beautifully made except for one broken part.

Whilst the Alice figurine I purchased with this one was in perfect condition, never opened, Alchino came already assembled and pre assembled. So it took up more space in the box than it should have, and the seller tried to improvise some sort of homemade pillow, but that wasn't enough. The book got out of hand and I had to fix it, which meant using special tools that not everyone has at home. Very bad move, I am very angry that my product was used when I paid for a brand new one.

Not sure if it's because I have Prime or not but my figure arrived very well packaged. The box was in a clear bag, professionally packed, and the figure itself was extensively wrapped in bubble wrap at the factory and there was no damage anywhere. The biggest issue I had was attaching it to the base stand, but that's fine with every action figure I've gotten over the years. First I want to say that the figure is incredibly detailed and looks amazing. That being said the box was a bit damaged but the figure inside was perfect and my only real complaint is with the way the stand was made. The leg creatures are so far apart that it took a very careful and forceful opening of Alfino's legs to allow him to properly place his legs on the base, I was afraid of breaking him the whole time but luckily that wasn't the case . The figure itself is cute but I tried to order two of these for quality control and each came with broken parts. crumpled up along the way. There was also the problem that only one of her legs would fit into the pegs on the base. I'm only giving two stars because the character is cute and if you have superglue you can save her. Like most others here, mine arrived a little broken. The book was broken where it was attached to his hand. You could clearly see where he was supposed to be. It also looked like the item had been repackaged, like someone had sent it back and then just repackaged and reshipped. I put some glue on it and hope it holds.
