You have chosen this item because you need a strong outer casing and socket and this combination may be less expensive than both alone. You wonder what is too cheap or poorly built. I can happily report that I didn't feel like I had compromised. The base is solid, the body is well built. I recommend it if you don't need to plug in one of those giant RV cables with a bulky handle. As others have said it has enough room for most forks but some oversized forks will not fit.

I'm an electrician who tightens the grommets (screws on the back of the socket) but they didn't come loose like the cheaper options. The metal case or case is thick and strong and has many holes for wall mounting. The cover is difficult to remove for assembly, but it's good for us because the wind on the coast is very strong.

First, it is very tight inside which makes working with 8 gauge and 6 gauge wire fed from the back a makes real wrestling..Secondly, the case has a nice thick paint finish.That's great, but the size of the lid is such that it doesn't close all the way without pushing the latch or something.I know these are minor imperfections and usually this applies to everyone protected…
