This is GREAT. It is thin, easy to apply and flexible. Don't forget to sand it down and there's no problem with the paint "spreading" underneath. I used it to do color separations on my Revell BRE Datsun 510 and they came out perfect. It can be removed WITHOUT damaging the previous paintwork.

Adheres well without leaving a sticky residue on parts. I'm using them on parts of a number of Bandai models that I'm preparing to spray paint. Never had a leak except when I forgot to press the tape in certain places. Better than the more generic masking tape I've tried that you find at hardware stores.

There is no substitute for Tamiya tape when you need to dress up something when assembling a model. It has enough stickiness and flexibility to conform to rounded surfaces and always leaves a clear color parting line. It was a particularly good deal with the dispenser and three rolls of tape for what I normally pay for a single refill roll.

I had problems with Tamiya masking tape. When applied directly without modification, it holds up well. But if you have to cut it open to craft more elaborate forms of camouflage, it seems to bleed a lot more often. Color may ooze a little underneath. It's never too much though, so a little tidying up is all it takes afterwards, but it still hurts a bit. For this price you get three rolls of tape (one in a refillable dispenser) so very good value for money.

I got this tape in a smaller size to have more flexibility when masking models for painting. I don't like the dispenser. It tends to open easily. If you apply the tape as suggested it will stick to the dispenser. When I'm not using the tape I store it the suggested way, but flip it over when I use it. The tape tends to stick to the dispenser and is sometimes difficult to get hold of. The tape is ok, but it's also a bit pricey. I will not replace this tape as I use it, I can keep the roller…
