This must be old stock. The skin was dry and slightly stretched in a twisted position. When I unrolled it, there were crease marks (bubbles) on the surface. Now I buy it directly from the store where Tandy carries new stock.

Very clean and high quality. No foreign smells or defects. I immediately cut a piece off and glued it, rough side up, to a sturdy paddle and this is my best leather knife sharpening sling! I would buy again. Shipping within 2 days. TG

Excellent price and consistent thickness. But you get what you pay for, it's of lower quality. The leather is very dry and stiff upon delivery and only about 40 inches of the strip can be used due to imperfections. That being said I would probably still buy again as it's a lot for the price and comes with one day shipping. Great if you're stuck in the middle of a project and run out of skin!

Very satisfied with the quality of this leather. Almost perfectly smooth, fairly supple. The edges are straight, with no deviation in width. Length at least 50 inches. I bought it to make a belt and it suits my needs well. For the price I paid I think that's a lot. Although I would be happy if I paid twice as much. I would never accept compensation for a review, I don't think so. hot
