It doesn't matter how gentle you are.

Tapped the glass out of the bottom of the kettlebell and filled it with maple syrup. Used once. Had to order another to finish the first batch of syrup.

Use this to make the best maple syrup you will ever have

Used to make maple syrup, Measures the sugar content of syrup, Works very well, best maple syrup I have ever tasted. Do not drop the tube, but slowly lower it into the liquid to avoid breakage.

Satisfied seller, it's quite difficult for them to ruin an item unless it's broken. Made in China. You must stock and sell Made in the USA

Works perfectly! best in testing, measuring and validating

I love this hydrometer but I was heartbroken when I forgot it was in my jacket pocket and broke it when I put it on sat down to throw more wood. Evaporator. It's great and I highly recommend it if you're new to making maple syrup. Helped me a lot!

Worth the money

After our friend laughed at us using a black marked wooden spoon to determine if our maple syrup was done or not, he suggested we buy this special hydrometer and yes, it takes all the guesswork out of it! A nice addition to our new hobby!

So far this has worked well for me. Other reviewers have complained that it breaks easily, which is probably true, but the instructions warn you to dip the hydrometer in juice and not drop it for that very reason. It is very easy to use and the instructions are clear.

The areometer only worked for one season.

I ordered this product because it meets government requirements. However, after a season of use, this hydrometer has been safely hidden away for the next cooking season. He worked for a day and then kept the water in the lower chamber. It then ripped and was no longer used. I really expected this to take longer than three cook times. Any help from this company would be greatly appreciated.
