They don't stay tight. I bought a lot of meat and put it in these bags. They were fully sealed when I put them in the freezer but when I took them out they were all open. I just threw away a lot of money because I had to throw away all the food. Don't buy these bags if you want to keep your groceries fresh. You ruined a lot of meat!

I was skeptical when I ordered these bags. For the price (they happen to be cheaper than buns) I expected poor quality/problems and that I would have to return them. Well, I'm glad I'm wrong so far. They are well sealed and sous vide. They are the same thickness as other much more expensive bags I've bought and the material seems to be the same. Featured!

I bought them for food storage. To do this successfully, bags must be able to remove all air and fit snugly around the items being stored. do they. They should pass and hold heat seals easily and firmly. do they. They should work in a freezer or sous vide cooker. do they. To top it off, they don't have a lot of cost per unit of storage. What more do you want? Satisfied and happy customer.

Scraping for the money just didn't know that 8 1/2 x 11 liters is 1/4 volume. You can put on a pyrex edition stick and seal it a lot more than I thought. You can put a big pyrex sheet on it, it's a lot bigger than I thought. Guess next time I just buy a 2.50ft roll you can cut the exact size you need, not just bigger. Trolls go to the same hundred feet and have the same price. Very happy with the product

They are really small. Too small for freezing most meats and vegetables. Well to be fair if you are looking for a bag for a mix, dried spices, 4-6 oz chunk of cheese or similar this would be great. But they just don't work for me. You need room on both sides to allow air to escape when sealing the food. If you put food in it, she won't let you. So yes, a pound of ground beef will do, but you won't get good airtight packaging. It will seal but there will be air bubbles which defeats the purpose…
