I use this scale often. I mainly use it when filling a pot with food and then dividing the full pot into equal sized portions. This scale works well and is easy to clean.

The top of the scale sticks to the bottom even if you weigh a few grams. Tried with WD 40 to no avail. I would like to get another one, but the return period has already expired. I'm not sure I would trust buying another one. That shouldn't happen to Taylor. suck for me :(

Bought two of these for work as we have a Taylor 25lb. Scales that have worked flawlessly for many years. This scale looks nice and the dial is great for setting the tare weight, but unfortunately this scale doesn't reach the accuracy of our old scales. The two we bought new have to be constantly readjusted. I was dying to use this scale. Unwrapped, allowed to warm to room temperature and followed the instructions to place the weight on the platform and take it off a few times. The platform always seemed to hang when light weight was placed on it. If a heavier weight was placed on it, the platform would sag when the weight was removed. I've attached a photo showing the empty platform stuck at 11oz with no weight. The zero button (at the top of the dial behind the platform) doesn't work either…
