TDK Music 1X-4X 80-minute digital audio CD - RW 10- Packed in ultra-thin jewel cases. TDK media is exactly what I needed. I usually have trouble buying CDRWs because I use them on my computer to burn CDs for music. I usually transfer the music file to my hard drive and erase the CDRW to record a new set of music. HOW TO SHOP. I might be, but when it comes to shopping, stores don't come right up and say if it's good for music recording. They are told to look for the RW badge, which should say…

Pros
  • Top marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options

Ideal for the home studio of musicians

This product is very suitable for the home studio. I'm a jazz guitarist and I use this CD for my arrangements. Getting the final mix is very important to the record and this CD allows me to play it on my truck radio after the final monitoring on my studio speakers. If the mix doesn't sound right, I can just unfinalize it, delete the track and start a new mix. The CD records good, clear sound and reproduces the original recording very well across the audio spectrum. Of course, as with most…

Better Late Than Never to Leave a Review

I think I've reviewed this product before but I'm not sure so here it is again! Firstly, as far as I can remember, I didn't buy them in 10 pieces. I bought two separate CDs on sale for under $10 years ago and both stopped working after being remastered and re-recorded less than 10 times and one of them was maybe even less than 3 times. It was probably over 10 years ago that these CDs stopped working so maybe my burner was the problem, not having tried other rewritable discs in a burner since…

Pros
  • Very Good Price
Cons
  • Exorbitant Piggy Bank

Hard 2 find now found

In 1990 I bought a homemade Yamaha CDR D.651 CD recorder with a natural sound. That was at the top of the list at the time. I think I paid $399 before taxes. Anyway, I bought this burner because I recorded about 65 of my original songs in the studio twice and mixed them onto an audio cassette. CDs and CD sales were starting to take over the cassette market, so I had to change the format to help sell my CD projects. My CD.RW purchases at the time were Memorex and TDK. Of course, once I had all…

Music CD-RW TDK

I bought these CDs to use with my Philips CDR 760. Apparently Philips no longer supports these CD burners for service and writable discs. Why, who knows? I have used TDK drives before and they have worked fine. I have also used Memorex which has also worked well. Over time and after multiple write and erase cycles, I found that TDK, Philips, and Memorex RW drives eventually gave up and stopped working. I read that there is a code on the hard drive that needs to be read before the hard drive…
