TDK VCL-CABH VHS-C Cassette Adapter - Discontinued by Manufacturer: Find Alternatives & Compatible Options Review

I had to transfer all my childhood memories from VHS-C to DVD. When I got this unit I was able to play old video tapes on a standard VHS VCR and burn all the tapes to DVD. From there I also uploaded movies to Google Video. Now I can access and save my childhood movies anywhere without risk of losing them. If you have old cassette tapes at home, don't be lazy, get this adapter and copy your memories. You will not regret it!

The VHS-C Cassette Adapter worked fine in the VCR. Played all old (20+ years) cassettes. I then hooked up a VCR (no TV needed) to the computer and dumped to DVD. Excellent purchase!

A few weeks ago I hooked up my TDK VHS-C adapter and got to work transferring all my tapes to my computer. I was happy that this is a reliable and durable product. I had a little trouble inserting the very first cassette, but I quickly got the hang of it. Can't comment on how it holds up after extended use as I've finished all my transfers and probably won't be using it for a long time. However, based on my experience with it, I recommend it with full confidence.

This product was the best. We had some old cassette movies that we couldn't watch anymore so I ordered this cassette adapter and we can enjoy our old movies again. good product.

This is a manual adapter and there are a lot cheaper on the market. I personally had dysfunctions. and thought motorized buy motorized. This one is fine.

The product is cheap and does not work. The VHS-c cassette door sticks, sticks and is very difficult to operate. It is a TDK brand and I have TDK brand VHS-C tapes. The funny thing is that TDK VHS-C cassettes don't fit the TDK proprietary adapter. I had an earlier VHS-C adapter that opened the door with a battery. That worked much better. I can't use this to view my feeds. Buy another brand. This one is useless.
