This pointer works quite well but the plastic around the handle may wear out a bit. Especially if you have students who like to tear things down, each hanging piece will be tempting.

arrow came broken - shipped in padded envelope. The stick is made of brittle plastic, the cat's head is very large, not ideal for pointing and too heavy for a stick. The cat is cute. Just too big for its purpose.

I read other reviews on this product before purchasing. I decided to take a chance knowing it was cheaply made. It's very cute and my class loved it BUT the head fell off within a month of purchase. I even explained to the class that you have to be careful with "Pete" because his head could break off, and in fact he fell on the floor and his head really broke off the pointer. So buyers beware, this product is not well made and I would not recommend buying it.
