Perfect match. Micron chips

For beginners I recommend using CPU-Z to see what is currently installed. I installed it along with the Kingston 8GB DDR4-2666 that came preinstalled on my laptop. Micron chips on both sticks. No questions.

Pros
  • Everything seems so far
Cons
  • Packaging is ugly

Easy update and instant results!

The product arrived in new retail packaging. It was exactly as described and matched the built in memory in my Acer Nitro laptop. The performance was easy to see, as soon as I launched the game I noticed faster load times and smoother graphics. Very happy with it!

Pros
  • Everything is fine!
Cons
  • Some errors

Works great with Dell!

I'm a Crucial person through and through, but lately the Crucial memory seems to be getting harder. With new Dell laptops, memory is even harder to come by. I had never heard of TeamGroup until a colleague mentioned it. The memory is of good quality, works great with Dell laptops and is packaged nicely. Memory is one of those things that sometimes gets overlooked, but it can improve system performance. 16GB is fine. High-quality memory keeps your system running smoothly. TeamgGroup is now onโ€ฆ

TeamGroup is the best!

When I first started playing PC games, I bought memory modules from Kingston and HyperX, but then I got to know TeamGroup SSDs. From that moment I switched to their components and I am very happy with them! I now use a lot of TeamGroup SSDs and storage on our office laptops and am switching from HyperX to this brand in my personal gaming laptop. Excellent value for money and components last longer than expected. Use TeamGroup when you want to save money on components and get quality for whatโ€ฆ

2nd set of RAM from this company

I took a chance as it wasn't the brand I was familiar with but I needed to upgrade the RAM for an old ThinkPad I bought cheap . I got the best out of my Thinkpad x230 with 16GB DDR3 memory from this manufacturer. Fast forward a few months and I've inherited a newer and slightly larger HP Probook 450G3. This was only with 8GB or RAM so I ordered another 16GB RAM kit in DDR4 for the Probook. There are no problems with either set. They stood up securely and booted in both cases with no errors inโ€ฆ

  • Well built

  • Almost everything is there

Works great in HP 440 G7

New laptops were recently handed out at work. Our new ones are HP 440 G7. As expected, forces are being redirected to equip our new laptops with SSDs and dual-channel RAM. I swapped out the factory 500GB hard drive for a 500GB NVMe SSD and added a second RAM stick so the integrated GPU was all it could be with weak sauce. Being an OEM system you don't have much freedom in the BIOS/UEFI so I needed RAM that works with the default settings and this SODIMM from TeamGroup does exactly that. Sameโ€ฆ

Skeptical at first but works great

I ordered these SO-DIMMs for my Mac mini (2018) - base model A1993 EMC3213, MacMini ID 8.1 with 3.6MHz Intel Core i3 processor, 8GB RAM, 256GB SSD. I made sure the memory modules I was looking for were PC4-21300 2666MHz because I read that DDR4 baud rate is required for Mac Mini. I also only wanted 16 gigabytes but came across Teamgroup memory modules which are much cheaper than Crucial or similar memory I could find and ordered 32GB modules (2 x 16GB) instead! I installed the ram and it hasโ€ฆ

Worked great for an easy upgrade.

I bought this to upgrade my laptop from 8GB to 16GB and it worked great. I chose this one because it was the cheapest LP-DDR4 2666 8GB I could find at the time. Installation was easy - just remove the bottom of the laptop, plug it in and boot up. Another review mentions RAM running at half the advertised speed - this isn't false advertising or a bug, it's the way RAM works. DDR RAM transfers data *twice* per clock (double the data rate - "DDR" in DDR4). If you see RAM sold at 2400, 2666, 3200โ€ฆ
