Memory Great as long as they don't mix with smaller memory modules.

Memory works fine. However, that 8GB of memory doesn't seem to be compatible with other types of memory. In addition, I installed another 16 GB of mixed memory (4 x 2 GB cards and 2 x 4 GB cards). My Mac Pro 4.1 (Early 2009) wouldn't start (complained about bad RAM) until I pulled out all but the new 32GB (4 x 8GB boards). After that, the system boots up normally and works perfectly. The catalog says 16GB boards can't run on less memory, but apparently the same can be said for 8GB boards.

Pros
  • Brilliantly made
Cons
  • Disappears

Excellent use with Mac Pro Mid 2010!

I bought these for my mid 2010 Mac Pro that runs El Capitan and they work great. Has really made a big leap with the factory installed 3 GB RAM. Definitely hoping to buy another kit to fill the last two free RAM slots. Just remember not to mix different RAM models or brands or your Mac will not recognize the new memory.

Pros
  • Pleasant
Cons
  • Makes me nervous

Best Value in Computer Components

When in doubt, try these guys. Installing RAM isn't as scary as it sounds, and the vendor's customer service will tell you exactly what your system can use. It was a very simple process that saved me a lot of money compared to updating my entire system.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • Confusing

Great value

I bought this memory specifically for the 2010 Mac Pro 5.1 model. They work great! None of the memory chips are defective. I ordered a few more to increase the amount of RAM. Disadvantages: none. Pros: works great. The price is cheaper than ebay.

Pros
  • Fingers crossed
Cons
  • Expandable

Great price for internals

Or as the fake smart hipster zoomers say. Excellent price POINT.I. I am a very happy customer with this product. RAM is so cheap these days. I like it. It's easy and affordable to take them to hell now multitasking or battling system resource hogs in your operating system. If you prefer Linux distros, OS X or Win 10, get a bunch of RAM and live big. These sticks are great, run cool and are reliable.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Almost everything is there

Works great. Highly recommended.

Ready to Go > Connected > Bingo! The case has not weighed down, the quality of the components seems to be normal. No installation or detection problems. In terms of performance, when I upgraded from the 16GB Corsair Vengeance to the 32GB A-Tech, I noticed some improvements in file copying, memory, etc., but I guess I was expecting a bit more. At less than half the price of other brands, this is the best you can get. It's been almost a month since I installed it, so far so good. Will be…

Great affordable upgrade to a mid 2010 Mac Pro

I bought these for my mid 2010 Mac Pro with El Capitan which was upgraded from the factory 4 x 2GB RAM. Installation is easy, but I tried being greedy and using the factory RAM in the remaining slots. A white flashing light when starting says "No". It's easy enough to take them out and just run the new 4 x 8GB (slots 1,2,5,6) and it runs like clockwork. Great price for a decent increase in performance.

Pros
  • Acceptable
Cons
  • For the old

Brilliant! Works with Mac Pro Mid 2010

Fits perfectly on my Mac Pro Mid 2010. I use El Capitan and also installed Windows 10 via Bootcamp. Both recognized all 32GB of memory and there were no problems. To be honest, I don't think I've ever done anything with computers that didn't require something special and extras. I give this memory 10 stars! It's only been a few hours, but once it's up and running it usually works, so I don't expect any problems.

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • No

Good upgrade for Mac Pro 2009

Used to upgrade memory in Mac Pro 2009. No problem. It fits perfectly and works well. I don't think this is one of the famous companies and to be honest I bought them because of the cost. After a few months no complaints. Remember that you want to use a manufacturer's memory. You won't play well if you mix them up.

Pros
  • Hands-free operation
Cons
  • not reliable
