However, as a result of my tests, i determined that THE connectivity of this receiver is unreliable and often disconnects for no apparent reason. I bought this to replace an old Microsoft wireless mouse that only worked well on perfect surfaces. This mouse works well on most surfaces I've tried it on (my sofa, some books, some magazines, my hand, my cat) and seems to have a very long battery life (months of daily use). I noticed that the mouse jumps a bit on white semi-glossy surfaces, especially glossy white textbooks.
