Good coverage for an SUV. - Covers

I've been using the Tecoom SSC05 car cover on my 2019 Lexus RX 350 for about 3 months now. I'm very impressed. It covers my car well, light weight and waterproof. I often don't bother with the straps as it fits snug enough without them, but they are comfortable on windy days. I can fit it to my SUV myself, although it's much easier to do it with the help of another person, especially in windy conditions. I washed it off in the car and removed almost all the leaves, bird droppings etc it…

Thin, not worth it. Do not buy!

The cover itself is very thin as described, it seems you have a very soft inner layer to protect the car, which is not true, just a different color. In addition, the straps that are supposed to hold this tarpaulin on the car simply snapped during a light storm. All day I've had to adjust and reattach these straps and tie them down to try and hold this (mostly a tarp) to my car. I know it's only $25 but it's a complete rip off. I could buy a piece of plastic and some elastic cords and it would…

Questionable lock protection

While the lid itself appears to be very secure, I haven't had time to test how well it withstands all the elements. However, I am very disappointed with the security cable. First, there were absolutely no instructions on how to properly use the cable to secure the lid. Second, there were no instructions on how to program a single lock. Since the cord didn't go from the loop on one side of the car to the other and back, I wasn't sure how to secure the cover with a lock. I went to Home Depot to…

Best deal in a long time 2014 Subaru Forester

Update 2021 with second purchase: Just bought my second suitcase. The first I believe helped protect my car when a dry tree fell on it during a hurricane. Very satisfied with the product and do not hesitate to buy the same item again. A NEW back pocket seems like a better idea than a separate pocket which I've never used. Original Review: Purchased for my new Subaru Forester. There is a lot of tree sap this year. This case is AMAZING. I can't be happier. Very lightweight, easy to attach and…

Poor quality product

I bought this car cover in September and put it in my trunk to use this winter to protect my fully restored 2002 Jaguar Type X. I used it once in November in heavy rain. After this use, I noticed that the car was wet under the tarpaulin and found that it was clearly not "waterproof" as claimed. The next time I used it was November 27, 2020. I covered the car before setting out on a month-long trip. I just got back this week. The car was covered in snow and had a tarp on it. I shook off as much…
