1/2" wide x 30 foot long Teflon tape / PTFE tape roll with adhesive backing. Fits virtually all FoodSaver, Weston, Cabella's, Nesco and Seal-A-Meal vacuum sealers, as well as most models of hand / impulse heat sealers. Replaces deteriorated or burnt-out Teflon tape, which is a crucial barrier between the heating element and the bag. Old tape causes poor bag sealing and can lead to a broken heating element and a broken sealer. Tape may be slightly wider and longer than necessary, allowing for broad compatibility. Strip should be replaced when appearing warn, discolored or if sealing isn't perfect. Just peel tape from the roll and place on the correct area (you may need to clean the strip location before placing the new piece of tape). Over the wire for vacuum sealers, under the wire for impulse sealers. Ideal for virtually all FoodSaver models including 4800, 2244, 3240, 4440, 4865, 3880, 3460, 2840, 3840, 3835, 2440, 2450, 2860, 2240, 2840, FM2000, FM2100, GameSaver, Professional, and many more. Don't Waste Your Money on This Sealer

I purchased this impulse sealer for my Home and Kitchen but was severely disappointed with its performance. After I put it to the test, it struggled to seal bags properly and left an uneven seal. While the Teflon coating did prevent any sticking, it did not make up for the poor seal quality. The only positive aspect was its compact size, but that is not enough to justify the price. Save your money and invest in a better quality sealer.

Helped the food saver

Noticed some "wrinkles" on the old tape and noticed that the vacuum bag doesn't seal very well. I thought the problem might be in the "wrinkles" on the tape. I looked at the prices and for the money this reel was better than buying 3 packs of shorter pieces. Carefully remove old tape, cut new tape. Installed and now my Food Saver seals like a champ. Small wrinkles were enough to prevent a good heat seal. Also, with everything I have, if I notice any "wrinkles," I can remove and stick a new…

If your vacuum sealer doesn't seal well, don't change machines, buy this Teflon tape.

My mom used her Foodsaver so much that the tape frayed in places and didn't seal properly. Because she's a "um" older person from a generation who fixes things instead of throwing them away, she called Foodsaver to fix it. They said it couldn't be repaired. I found this tape and risked $10. to try for her. All I had to do was remove the old tape and any remaining tape. TURN IT OFF FIRST!. ;) Then I glued the wire and Tada!, your Foodsaver works like new! The roll contains enough to probably fix
