Functional and reliable mechanical attachment

Works as expected. It adheres well to circuit boards as 5 pins need to be soldered to the board. Definitely recommend or buy again.

Pros
  • Few competitors
Cons
  • Older model

Incorrectly connected/disconnected detection

These connectors seem to incorrectly signal the PC to connect or disconnect a device. Apparently the connectors have little pins inside that touch each other when nothing is connected and they stop. Touch when you connect something. Conversely, how do you find connectors with small pins that touch when you plug in a device that tells the PC that something is plugged in?

Pros
  • fun
Cons
  • sad packaging
