Our bearded dragon is much happier with this tuber. It made such a big difference. She came to us with a calcium deficiency and probably a neurological defect and since we had this lightbulb in her cage she has started to move better and make progress.

This product is essential for bearded dragon health. I bought this for my daughter when she accidentally broke her old lamp. It came quicker than I expected and it was the perfect replacement. The price was affordable and the quality was excellent.

I bought this flashlight for my baby primate (marmoset) a year ago and it has turned out to be the best! A year later we bought a camper and I had to buy a flashlight when traveling. This light burned my two primates! They had what appeared to be severe sunburn, but on their fragile skin it was bad news for them and their eyes were badly swollen. Now I have THIS lamp in stock and I will NEVER use any other light than this for my 2 monkeys!

This bulb sucks. This is by far the worst mercury lamp ever bought. The heat is minimal and it takes forever to warm up. I haven't had it for over a month and now it flickers and turns off. Good MV bulbs start at around $48.50, so this is a clear case of you getting what you pay for. This bulb was only $22 so I guess it's my fault for buying a cheap bulb. Now I have to throw those away and buy a Mega Ray or Powesun bulb. It was a waste of money and I learned my lesson. Never again .

I advise you to think carefully before you buy. UVB is incredibly strong. So much so that it created an iridescent reflection all over my wall through the tank's glass. I have a very large tank for my beard, but as soon as I turned it on I immediately felt uncomfortable leaving it. Thinking about it, I think it's important to have one side for heating and the other for UV so they are free to choose what they need and move accordingly. At 160 watts I thought it would be a lot warmer, hot to about 4-6 inches, then warming up to 12-18 inches, then abruptly cooling down. I use a cheap lightbulb, but it's rated at 200 watts, so yeah, not very warm. Just kind of warm. Cheap 120 volt, 50 watt spot lights that came with a 200 watt clamp bulb emitted about the same amount of heat from a slightly smaller area. The light has a slight green tint, fwiw.
