Would buy again. suitable for hand tools

These are normal spring clips, not very high quality. But I've never seen really high-quality spring clips. I would buy them again and probably will (there are never many clips)

Pros
  • nice packaging
Cons
  • disappears

Cut me but otherwise acceptable

The metal part of this product next to the rubber pad cut my finger when trying to remove the plastic pad. Of course, that should never happen. Otherwise the clamp works.

Pros
  • Delivery was very quick
Cons
  • Operating speed

If you have the money better buy

I think you get what you pay for, they don't stick well, they keep breaking and falling on the floor. I bought these for one time use so I'm not too worried but if you're someone who uses this on a weekly basis you should probably spend your money on higher quality clips!

Pros
  • Stylish and modern design
Cons
  • Not bad but...

Will not open to 2 inches

Well I bought this as a cheaper version of the pony clip. He's got some problems. It doesn't open to 2 inches, maybe 1 3/4 inches. but not 2 inches. Also, the jaw shape is curved so you can't pinch yourself in a tight corner. They're not bad for some purposes, but not that good. It's also anything but cheap.

  • Best in Niche

like clips - lost the red plastic on the tips

I like clips and use them a lot in my metal workshop. As I work with torches and welders I would advise any buyer to remove the red rubber tips immediately. The downside is that they can scratch the part you are working on. They're a good deal for the price.

Pros
  • Easy installation
Cons
  • Long delivery time

These clips open slightly wider than 3.5 inches at the tips, although 3 inches is the maximum around the jaws to be kept parallel to each other. I can open them with one hand. (YMMV I have a large grip/medium strength) The rubber grips and tips are easy to remove but stay firmly in place. The end of each handle has an 8mm or 0.3 inch diameter hole when you attach cables etc. The jaws have a slightly curved double tooth under the rubber tip. Made in China.

Pros
  • Sleek Design
Cons
  • Available in Exchange

Good metal clips for home use.

This clamp is strong enough for my occasional home woodworking needs. It can clamp up to two inches (I'm showing a picture of two 0.75" boards being clamped by two of them for reference. It's metal construction except for the anti-scratch dots highlighted in red. I think it's a good buy for DIY for different needs.

I love her! So comfortable.

This is awesome! Durable, good grip and strong. I use them to hold down a tarp I use outdoors to cover gear and they hold up great even in high winds. They're just handy to have in a variety of situations. My only wish would be if there were a few prongs on the ends that could grip better, but there are benefits to having them now so I won't blame the product for that.

  • Hand tool
Cons

You get what you pay for

These clips are fine and I've bought a few just because they're cheap and work well enough. However, they are NOT the same quality as original pony clips β€’ The metal coating is thin and they rust much faster than pony clips when used outdoors. β€’ The width of the open jaw is not as wide as a comparable pony clip, but will grip a 2x4 wide piece. Most annoyingly, the rubber tips slip in and out easily on both the clamp end and the grip end. Also, the rubber tips are soft rubber, so the metal of…
