Description of TEKTON 4 Inch Quick Release Ratchet SRH31006

90-tooth gear produces a working swing arc of just 4 degrees. 180-degree, 9-position flex head lets you approach your work from any angle. Unlike conventional "low profile" designs that focus on controlling only the thickness of the head, we reduced the size in every dimension: height, width, and length. Quick-release drive tang locks securely on to sockets so they won't accidentally fall off. Biased drive direction switch ensures the ratchet gear is engaged at all times, preventing slips or free-wheeling.

Not Worth the Investment

We purchased this ratchet for an automotive project and were disappointed with its performance. Using this product our team found that it lacked durability and frequently became jammed. The quick release mechanism also malfunctioned multiple times, making it frustrating to use. The only positive aspect was its affordable price point. Overall, we do not recommend this tow product for any automotive needs, as it will likely cause more headaches than it's worth..

These instruments never fail to impress me with their looks and quality.

This flexible head ratchet is very strong and durable. I'm gradually replacing all of my craft tools with Tekton, I'm happy with all of their hand tools. I particularly liked this ratchet. I've used it to loosen rusty bolts, even put a tube on the end for extra leverage, and it's held up a lot longer than I expected. The head has enough latches to keep it where you position it, but that doesn't stop you from moving it around if needed. Again, this is a great tool that I highly recommend.
