Description of 🌡️ Enhanced Accuracy with Temperature Plated Extruder: Creality Printer

Material: Copper alloy; It is machined with very high precision and high quality. Compatible with Creality ALL Metal Hotend Ender 3s Ender 3 pro Ender 5 Pro CR10 S4 S5 3D Printer and MK8 MK9 extruder. Copper has more than 3x the thermal conductivity of brass, and the copper alloy we use has been hardened and treated to reduce the oxidation that occurs in copper at high temperatures. The higher thermal conductivity will also slightly increase your heat-up times, and can provide tighter temperature control. his copper-alloy is very temperature resilient, and will not start to soften or anneal until way beyond 500°C, making it perfect for the high-temperature printing. Size: 20x20x10mm, package: 1piece plated copper CR10 block.

Good upgrade, easy to change.

Well made, glad it has room for a cartridge type thermistor as I broke my old one when replacing it. Installation was easy, after that I had to do the auto PID tuning, definitely more conductive than a standard aluminum heater block. Do yourself a favor and buy a cartridge type thermistor. Most likely, you will need it when the default device breaks.

  • Dope 🔥
Cons

Improved print quality

It was easy to install and is a direct replacement for the stock aluminum fuser on my Ender 5 Plus and my print quality has improved with smoother prints and less tension, especially when using PETg (see image , that's after going through about 4 coils.) Just make sure to tune your PID (Proportional-Integral Derivative - google it if you don't already know about PID) as it will change the heating and cooling dynamics of your extruder .

Pros
  • Confident
Cons
  • Out of fashion

Absolutely normal. Requires upgrades.

Generally good. If anyone is wondering if it weighs around 25 grams. It has a thermistor and a hole for a thermocouple. However, my big issue here is the placement of the thermistor hole. It is located next to the heating element. This is not very good for accurate temperature control. I used a 5/64 drill bit and made a new hole. I didn't succeed the first time, it turns out that the thread walls are thinner than I thought. However, the carving and everything else about this device is good. For
