Description of Tent extreme double Tramp BIKE 2 V2, gray

Robust double ward from Tramp, suitable for year-round use on hikes of any length and complexity. The design and materials used make the model resistant to strong winds and other manifestations of bad weather. The presence of a skirt will not allow them to penetrate even along the bottom. In bad weather, for better protection, it is pressed down with snow, sand or other suitable material. Characteristics:* Metal sliders were installed instead of the eyelets into which the arcs were inserted, the width of the sling was reduced to 10 mm* The awning is also attached to the arc using a metal slider* The tension is due to plastic buckles, in general the design is lightened and simplified* Supports in the ventilation windows Now they are not flexible, but rigid, which makes the window more stable in strong winds* The zone of the lower guys is reinforced with an additional stitching* For the upper guys there are special rubber rings that fix the guys in the folded state* The bag has acquired a classic look - a straight zipper, instead of a U-shaped one* Since 2018, an updated version of the tent has been released with minor design changes * The frame of the tent is 2 folding aluminum arcs of different sizes. After installing them, you get a product in the form of a half-barrel, with one entrance and a wedge-shaped vestibule. The maximum height of the tent is 1 m.* Like the other tramp models in this series, the bike 2 (v2) is equipped with 2 ventilation flaps. The level of their opening can be adjusted both from the outside and from the inside of the tent. The model consists of a sleeping compartment, to which the frame arcs are attached, and an outer awning. The latter, due to processing, is resistant to ultraviolet radiation, moisture and even fire - impregnation significantly slows down its spread through the fabric. All seams are taped for better protection.* The inner tent provides travelers with the highest possible comfort. The dense bottom will ensure dryness in the sleeping compartment even in heavy rain, the mesh at the entrance and windows will not let insects inside. In addition, inside there are pockets and a removable hanging shelf for storing various small items.* The tent weighs no more than 3 kg and fits in a compact case that can be put in a backpack or carried separately. Together with the awnings, the set includes pegs for fixing and detailed instructions for installation, disassembly and maintenance of the product. I am amazed! It was definitely worth the money!

Used on a bike ride. The first time to assemble a tent is still entertainment, it didn’t work out right away. We didn’t experience bad weather, but I think that everything is fine with this tent. In general, pleasant impressions.

Pros
  • The quality of materials, weight and compactness, it folds comfortably and fits into your bag without any problems (tents have problems with this)
Cons
  • There is not much space inside for two, things cannot be placed especially. Storage pockets on one side only. The main disadvantage is the not very thoughtful entrance from the side.

I was surprised by the quality for this price.

Successfully survived my first trip, which caught the May snow and rain. Survived the bad weather remarkably. Very happy with the purchase.

Pros
  • Lightweight, compact and waterproof. Convenient to carry. Reliable construction. Two men of average build fit perfectly.
Cons
  • Poor instructions, did not immediately figure out how to assemble the tent. From the inside of the tent, the main entrance is inconveniently closed. Since the inside of the tent (anti-mosquito) closes on one side, and the outside on the other, you have to bend your hand to fasten the zipper and get out obliquely (see photo).

I didn³'t expect the quality to be this good.

I made it through the snow and rain of May on my first overseas vacation without any problems. Amazingly withstood the storm. Totally satisfied with the acquisition.

Pros
  • It's portable, lightweight, and watertight. Easy to transport and store. Strong and dependable design. Two average-sized males would fit comfortably.
Cons
  • Instructions were confusing, and setting up the tent took longer than expected. The main entrance can't be accessed from inside the tent. Since the tent's mosquito-proof interior zips up one side and its mesh outside zips up the other, opening and exiting the tent requires an awkward twist of the body (picture).

I can't stop being happy with the purchase, a very good deal!

The inside of my tent stayed dry throughout the day and even through a hail storm (seen in the photo a few hours later). Even in the morning, there was no condensation. Although several reviewers have complained about the entry, I had no problems with it. The tent is fantastic, by the way.

Pros
  • Waterproof Dimensions and weight when folded Easy set up Perfect for a lone traveler
Cons
  • There aren't enough air vents, but that's probably a trade-off for how secure the building is. Only the vestibule area features a window.

Excellent quality, absolutely not expected for such a price.

The journey to Hawaii (where the weather was different and a stormy wind and heavy rain revealed its nice side) left a favorable impression. But if I had to pick a tent all over again, I'd go with a hemisphere.

Pros
  • Light. Not a lot of room is needed. Easy and fast to put together (after you get the hang of it). Acceptable construction; resists moisture. Backpacks can be stored in a vestibule.
Cons
  • The design's obvious drawbacks include the fact that it requires regular soil to place the pegs, without which it would not stand (installation on rocky ground will take considerably longer time) and the necessity of using stones and ties to secure the structure. There is only one route in and out, so you'll have to be flexible if you need to use the restroom late at night.

I didn³'t expect the quality to be this good.

The benefits of it include: A excellent tent was able to withstand everything and, despite being in Arkhyz for two days during a thunderstorm with a strong wind at night at 3000, it did not get wet. Consider the load, as well as the rate of assembly and disassembly. Different cons: It is difficult to say about two people; nonetheless, it is more ideal for journeys that involve only one person with a backpack. Condensation is present, although it is not catastrophic. A entryway that is not…

The best I ever used, recommend it to everybody.

Different pros: A good tent, held in Arkhyz for 2 days a thunderstorm with a strong wind at night at 3000, withstood everything, did not get wet. Weight, speed of assembly and disassembly. Cons below: It’s hard to say about 2 people, it’s more suitable for solo trips (1 person + backpack). There is condensation, but not fatal. Not a very comfortable vestibule. It used to be much cheaper.

The product is of poor quality, I do not advise.

The awning's fabric, the presence of a skirt, and the overall weight are all positive aspects of this product. Its cons: General outline of the tent's interior. The lock on the awning has been constructed to be extremely awkward to use. It would be much easier and more simple to gain access from the side, if at all possible. In addition, when the awning is stretched, there is a significant load placed on the zipper-entry, which causes it to begin to separate after some period of time. Mesh…

I really like the product, it fully meets my expectations.

My tent survived a hail storm (pictured a few hours after) as well as rain that turned into a downpour during the day and was dry inside. There was no condensation in the morning either. Regarding the entrance, many write that it is not very convenient, for me personally it did not cause any inconvenience. I am very pleased with the tent.

Pros
  • Waterproof Folded weight and dimensions Quick assembly Ideal for one person
Cons
  • There are not enough ventilation windows, but this is most likely a fee for tightness. There is only one window - in the vestibule area

I'm impressed! Exactly the product deserves your attention.

Awesome. The current is expensive. I took it for motorcycle trips, so you can overpay for comfort in any weather. If you are going to sleep together - only with loved ones, because. the tent is more like a "one and a half". I slept alone and felt great. And all things went in without problems. The vestibule will fit one backpack and shoes.

Pros
  • Light weight, small assembled size, overall quality materials, easy installation. Hermetic bag included.
Cons
  • There is one ventilation window - it is of no use, it is not felt at all. But this is probably nit-picking, because. if you raise the storm "skirt" and unbutton the vestibule a little, it's not hot at all. The exit from the side is strange, but you get used to it.

I am delighted, the product is really worthy.

In general, the impressions are positive, it showed itself on a good side on a trip to Hawaii (the weather was different, and a stormy wind and heavy rain). BUT, if I chose a tent again, I would probably buy a hemisphere.

Pros
  • Light. Takes up little space. Pretty quick and easy to assemble (if you get used to it) Materials OK, does not get wet. There is a vestibule for backpacks.
Cons
  • The disadvantages are clear from the design (semi-barrel), it needs normal soil to fix the pegs, without them it will not stand (it will take much more time to install on rocky ground), or fence something with stones and tie. One entrance, you also need to adapt (it’s not always possible to go to the toilet at night without waking your neighbor)

Disgusting, will never recomend it for anybody!

Pros: The material of the awning, the presence of a skirt and the total weight. Has cons: Overall structure of the tent. The lock on the awning is made very uncomfortable. It would be much more convenient to make an entrance from the side. In addition, when the awning is stretched, there is a large load on the zipper-entrance, so it begins to diverge over time. Mesh inner tent. If you put it in a sandy area, then there will be a lot of sand and dust inside. In frost, everything inside is…

One of the best deals, glad I bought this.

It's gorgeous and comfortable; I really like it =) Easy to put together is a definite plus. It was essential that the item be small and not take up a lot of room, thus this was one of the criteria. Bought for use while traveling by motorcycle. Weighs little. Because the tent, once built, is not very tall, the wind does not have a significant impact on it. Wind and snow are deflected by a "skirt near the ground" that is present. Because the stretch marks contain reflective threads, it is not…

Excellent product, the best quality.

Comfortable and beautiful - I like it =) Pros below: Easy to assemble. Compact, takes up little space - this was an important criterion, because. Bought for motorcycle travel. Weighs little. The assembled tent is not high, so the wind does not affect it much. There is a "skirt near the ground" from wind and snow. There are reflective threads on the stretch marks - it is easy to find your tent in the dark. Haven't used it much so far. Then I'll add more. With its cons: So far I have found only…

The goods are normal, money is not wasted!

I was looking for a tent for climbing Elbrus from the north and further use in cycling trips. Of the requirements were: weight no more than 2.5 kg, compactness, excellent water resistance characteristics of the tent and bottom, the presence of a wind / snow skirt, the price is not more than 10 This tent meets all these requirements) I bought it with a promo code and thank you bonuses for 8500 The first test for the tent was immediately on Elbrus. The weather did not please us very much, there…

Pros
  • - Value for money - quality - my expectations. - Compression bag (NOT a dry bag!). Firstly, the bag itself is very roomy, and secondly, it can still be pulled well. - Dimensions and weight (someone will say that there are options lighter and smaller in volume, but within the price of 10and with the same characteristics, I did not find such). Advice from personal experience - the correct installation and strengthening of the tent is a guarantee that in case of bad weather you will not worry about its safety) therefore, if you use the tent in extreme weather conditions, then securely lay the stones on the skirt and choose stones that are heavier so that they do not blown away)
Cons
  • I wouldn't call it a disadvantage. It's more of an inconvenience. - The tent is ideal for 1 person (all equipment can be placed inside the tent), for two the vestibule is too small, you will either have to constantly shift backpacks and equipment, or somehow place them inside. - Entrance (inconvenient for 2 people, for one - everything is ok). - When the door is open, the corner of the inner tent sticks out (if you climb into the tent for a long time during heavy rain or forget to close the door, then this corner inside the tent will be damp). - Due to the protruding angle, it is inconvenient to close the door, you have to stretch your hand far. - The tent cannot be fully pulled like a string, i. E. the middle part of the upper awning (between the arches) still remains slightly stretched (this is very felt during bad weather, the upper awning constantly sways). - Condensate. In general, the formation of condensate is a completely natural process, there is no need to be afraid of this, it will still happen. But specifically in this tent, because of the mesh, drops form faster inside + during a strong wind, when the top awning hits the inner tent, water does not just drip, it splashes. - If there are Velcro on the clothes, then keep them away from the inner tent, because. they are very easy to cling to the mesh and leave puffs.
