I don't have to look at the back of my small screen in the studio. In Lightroom they don't say that when linking photos go straight to the computer and not the memory card. You can also use presets

I've used cheaper cables before but you can't match the durability and reliability of Tether Tools' TetherPro cables. Do yourself a favor and just get it. Plus, the bright orange color makes it less likely to be stepped on. Also, in case you step on it, buy a tether stopper or block to protect your camera's USB port from damage.
