I love my Tevas in shoes

I've been wearing Tevas for about 10 years now and I have a lot of foot problems, I prefer them for summer and winter (with socks). I have neuropathy and bone spurs, the hurricane style is the best! Support, comfort and good looks all in one. I can walk for hours without pain. Recently they changed the shape of the shoes so I now wear a 9 (my actual shoe size) instead of an 8 because they used to be big.

Look for original Teva sandals like

. I've tried several Teva sandals, including off-brand sandals, but found that they are nothing like the original Teva sandals I've had for years. either too flat or they don't flex, they have no arch support and they aren't strong. This pair wasn't on sale but I'm glad I bought them, I believe they will last a long time and withstand water and a lot of wear and tear. I'm happy with them so far, although I haven't worn them because the weather was too hot πŸ₯΅

They aren't made the way they used to be

I've replaced my 20 year old pair of TEVA Hurricanes with the same Hurricanes I've always loved. When summer comes, I only wear them. Unfortunately, my new Hurricanes aren't that comfortable. There used to be a padded pillow that connected the top strap to the side strap. This is no longer the case, making the sandals less comfortable and leaving blisters if worn for too long. I tried to solve the problem by having my cobblestones remove the soft rubber from my old TEVAs and glue it onto the…

Not for walking in sand or mud

I bought these shoes because I wanted to travel to Ecuador and do a lot of walking in and around the water. They were pretty comfortable until I started walking in the sand. What I didn't expect was the sand getting under the straps and rubbing my feet so hard I could see the bones above my thumb and pinky toe. I threw them away shortly after, they are not worth wearing again as far as I know. I spent the next 3 weeks taking care of my feet and trying to keep them from getting infected. I would

The best at all! Ladies

I wish I had received these sandals sooner. It's everything I need for an active Florida lifestyle, especially good support for walking on and off the sidewalk and hiking some of our state's sandy trails. They are also great for biking, kayaking and exploring Disney and the Wizarding World of Harry Potter! I wear them with both compression stockings and bare toes, but the fit is easily adjusted with velcro. This is important to me because I have a wide foot and I have never been able to find…

Perfect for my broken, swollen leg!

I broke my ankle three months ago and just pulled out a hard boot but couldn't find a shoe that fits my still very swollen foot. Buying bigger or wider shoes is not possible, because then my other rather thin foot slips over shoes that are too big. This seemed like a good option to me as you can adjust the straps on your toes, not just your ankle, which is what I need. My foot is all swollen, even my toes. I just got them so can't comment on durability yet but they are perfect for my needs…

Super comfortable adventure sandal

Great comfortable adventure shoe. I needed last minute sandals for a trip to Hawaii where I plan to do a lot of walking and hiking, some of it on slippery wet lava rock (NO time to worry about good traction with your shoes!). I was trying to decide between these and a pair of Chacos and after several reviews said they were better for everyday wear I decided to buy them. I'm so glad I did! I've worn them on several hikes, in and out of the water, on the beach and on lava rocks. There were no…

Not the same quality as 10 years ago. Unbearably bad.

I've had a few pairs of Tevas for years and ended up buying new ones as I expect some brand stability. I tried them on and they looked good so I went for a walk in them. And while out for a walk, I got HUGE, HORRIBLE BLISTERS on the big and little toes of both feet. I thought maybe I just need to put them on or I'm not adjusting the straps properly. I don't remember doing this to my old pairs but I got them so long ago I thought I might have forgotten. So I compared the new pair to my old ones…
