Hooray! It completely eliminates any body odor under my hands. I just add water and apply. And it has no smell. Warning: DO NOT attempt to layer it with any other deodorant. I thought it would be great to try some non-aluminum products. I don't know what happened, but after I put on another deodorant, my armpits smelled like cigarette ash. Disgusting!

I had a crystal exactly like the picture so I bought it! I ended up with a smaller crystal in a really ugly plastic base! No wicker basket and smaller than promised!

I'm copying my other review of another salt because both are equally good. But I would add that I like the little plastic basket that comes with this one because it makes it drier. I will never use deodorant sticks again. When you start using a deodorant like this, remember that it will take your armpits 2-4 weeks to "detox" from the regular deodorant known to smell bad, BUT once that's over, it will change your life. I absolutely love mine. I use it every day and it lasts about 7-8 months which is totally worth the price! At the end of the shower, I rub the stone in my armpit for about 30 seconds, then don't rinse it off, just let it dry. Marvelous.

If this deodorant doesn't work for you, then you are not using it properly. You need to moisten it and gently apply it to your armpits. It's not waxy like regular deodorants, so you can't just wipe it up a few times and you're done. You need to dissolve part of the stone on your body. I usually rub each armpit for 5-10 seconds and then get rid of the smell completely within 24 hours. No stains on my clothes and I don't have that dressing room smell I associate with branded items like Speedstick

I've been using this deodorant for years and I don't plan to change it any time soon. That's great. I would stay away from this particular product. It seems they molded it to have a smooth finish, but it's clear that this bar is made up of multiple parts that weren't fully pressed or molded.
