Forget the kids - adults love it too!

Forget kids, my husband and I use it! At first I bought them for the kids but after trying them we decided to use one bottle for ourselves and give the other to the little ones. To my surprise, our 6 year old said he had a weird aftertaste and wanted to continue using his current mouthwash. The 10 year old has yet to try but I'll update once he does. No burning, no nasty antiseptic aftertaste, no artificial colors or weird chemical additives, gluten free. What's not to like!?

It's worth it! c Oral care

This is about the only mouthwash my little girl will use. She is very picky about the taste and says most children's mouthwashes are "too spicy". I will not even use bubble gum flavored products. But she's looking forward to this grape-flavored mouthwash, and because of her dental needs, she used this particular strain daily when she was very young. We've tried to change it, but it's a transition. Highly recommended for the little ones. It works and the flavor is mild and pleasant enough for…

Great conditioner! on Mouthwash

This is the only fluoride rinse we can give my daughter! We've tried them all and she just doesn't like baby gum flavors, but she doesn't like the "hot" taste of cinnamon or mint. I came across this grape flavored mouthwash on Amazon and thought it might be worth a try. She loves it. It's also a high quality conditioner with just the right amount of fluoride and no artificial colors, flavors or dyes. I also love that it contains xylitol which is so good for your teeth. That's all we're going to

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

The list is inaccurate and incomplete

No list of ingredients. The pH is not listed or tested in the child's mouth after rinsing. Acid (vitamin C) can produce benzene which is highly carcinogenic and can cause genetic mutations when pH is below 3.8. Why risk your children's health?

Not for sensitive teeth

I am an adult with very soft teeth that break easily so I was looking for a slightly more natural fluoride rinse and wanted to try this although it is sold for children. The grape flavor isn't that bad, but it's very sweet! Obviously not sugar sweetened, but my teeth pounded every time I rinsed my mouth with this anti-caries rinse. A few weeks later I still have the same pain so I stopped using it.

Winner - my 11 year old loves the taste!

My 11 year old son was struggling to use mouthwash; he complains that my minty mouthwash is too "spicy". We also have well water, not city water that is not fluoridated, and while he hasn't had any major problems, he has had several cavities in his baby teeth. As a user of Therabreath products, I was delighted to see the children's version of their mouthwash and to find a product that contains fluoride to help prevent tooth decay. My son tried it for the first time last night and switched…

Sodium Benzoate Preservative

This product has a higher content of Sodium Benzoate than Xylitol. So it either contains a negligible amount of xylitol or a very high amount of sodium benzoate. get drinks? Benzene can be formed at very low (ppb) levels in some beverages that contain both benzoate salts and ascorbic acid (vitamin C) or erythorbic acid (a related substance (isomer) also known as d-ascorbic acid). Exposure to heat and light can stimulate the formation of benzene in some beverages that contain benzoate salts and…
