Easy to use at home with an iron

Yes, you can use an iron to laminate a double sided photocopy of your Covid19 vaccination card. Use the iron at maximum temperature without steam. Do not iron directly, instead place the laminated card between two sheets of fabric (I used a pillowcase) and iron on both sides. It is not recommended to laminate the original card in future boosters.

Pros
  • Comfortable
Cons
  • Obsolete

Excellent quality and size

Don't waste your money on credit card sized laminate pouches. You are not big enough. This is the perfect size for laminating and trimming without unnecessary trimming. 5 million works best for me. If I forget to turn the heat up to 3 mils I'll end up with an accordion that I'll rip out of the laminator while holding my breath so I don't break the damn thing. I love my laminator and you know how it works. The newer models just don't work that way.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • New competitors are here

Great for name tags

After purchasing a Scotch 2 roll laminating system (TL901) last year I decided to use laminated name tags at an annual event where my friends and I attended around 150 entertain people. Printing the badges on paper (instead of cardstock), laminating them, and buying decent ribbons was cheaper than Avery's pre-packaged badges. This required extra effort as I had to drill a hole for the lanyard in each name tag, so I wouldn't want to do this for a thousand people. However, it worked well for our…
