It's just PERFECT!

These M.2 Thermal Pads - 70 x 20 x 1mm for M.2 2280 SSD NVMe Heatsinks (4 Pack) are PERFECT! They perfectly match my M.2 2280 NVMe heatsinks. They are just the right thickness (they are really 1mm.). And they stick to radiators, DESPITE what some may say. They give me a chilling effect of around 8-10F. I would buy them again anytime.

Huge improvement over the original pads

I used 2 of these per SSD heatsink (yes, stacked them on top of each other) and immediately dropped 7-9 degrees. Be sure to remove the plastic on both sides of the pad.

Pros
  • I'm crossing my fingers
Cons
  • I'm getting nervous

IMPORTANT FOR COOLING LAPTOP SSD

SSD is prone to overheating in thin laptops. This product helps keep the SSD within its operating temperature range and prevent slowdowns.

Better than the stock heating pad on my Asus Prime z370-A

Recently installed an Evo 970 M drive. High 70s to mid 80s (high CPU load) with the default panel installed on the Asus Prime Z370-A. Installed this board. It doesn't stick very well. Apply it gently to the m2 drive before tightening the drive cover. I had terrible results when I started because the last one was misaligned and I had to re-hold. I'm now seeing idle temperatures in the 20's to 30's and low 70's when rendering 4K footage with effects. I would have preferred lower temperatures but…

It works perfectly

Just finished assembling the Dan-A4 v4 case and the Asus X470-I board. I used a board (Ebay) so there was no thermal pad under the NVMe heatsink. The NVMe 960 Evo sat idle at 77 degrees, and any little request would bring it down. The drive heats up to 115 degrees (RED) when running the Crystal Mark benchmark. After installing just one of the thermal pads (if you add more than one, you can actually force it to insulate heat rather than dissipate heat), the same drive idles at a comfortable 55…

⚠ Electrical conductivity! ⚠

I received these pads a few months ago and used them to replace a poor looking pad that Dell preinstalled on my Dell G5 laptop and was not cooling my Saberent NVME SSD well. for a while but I suddenly started getting random BSODs and WHEA_UNCORRECTABLE_ERROR without a dump file and the Dell diagnostics reported that the drive was not mounted. I found it reappeared when I removed the sheet metal heatsink and thermal pad. Then when I reinstalled it, it was gone. Light finger pressure wouldn't…

I have 2 nvme in my computer, one is P2 and the other is Samsung 970 evo plus. Both get very hot during testing and gaming. I first heard about thermal pads when I bought an enclosure for my PS5 external SSD (which is also a 970 evo plus) and thought it would be a cool solution to cool the SSD that way and save space to save instead of using them. those large heatsinks that you have to deal with and that take up a lot of space in your system. So I went ahead and just tested the 970 evo plus for
