You might think that if this device is supposed to check the cooling circuit for leaks, then it doesn't leak itself. You would be wrong. It flows. I taped the connections with Teflon tape, but there is internal diaphragm leakage in the crappy plastic case. Not worth the money. Buy a well-made leak detector. it returns.

Leaking. I spent all night trying to find a leak in my system. Turns out the leak was actually the pump. I tested it by inflating it to 0.5psi and capping the bulb that was also attached, then leaving it on for 30 minutes. Of course when I finished it showed 0 psi.

This stupid thing cost me 2 days of my previous time to repeat my own cycle. It sucks. I disassembled my tank, hoses and blocks to find the leak before it hit me. I tested the tester with a very small fitting (it's tight because it's just some kind of metal cylinder) and guess what, the pressure dropped to 0 in 2 minutes. Don't even think about it if you want to calm down.
