Lifesaver for Welding Projects!

According to my experience, this thickness retardant protective fireproof insulation is an excellent addition to my welding tools and home improvement supplies. It provides optimal protection against heat and flames, allowing me to work with ease and confidence. The insulation is easy to install and fits perfectly in tight spaces. The only con I can think of is that it's a bit pricey compared to other options in the market. Nevertheless, its effectiveness makes up for the cost. Overall, I…

Pros
  • Excellent fireproof insulation for added safety in homes and buildings.
Cons
  • Hard to install without professional assistance, requiring additional costs.

Works as advertised

Used to reduce cigarette damage to furniture. It worked wonderfully, a lit cigarette could burn completely on this material and not even leave a trace.

Pros
  • Tools & Housewares
Cons
  • Available in Black only

Not for glass when welding and soldering

The thing melts right on my piece, I'm a glassblower. Says he doesn't leave a mark, but he does and ruins your job. I've used it to wipe down glass that came out of a kiln around 1050 and it left all sorts of marks that wouldn't dissolve in the flames. Don't buy it, just buy the Acadian ones. Now I don't have $28 because I missed the return window.

Pros
  • Welding equipment
Cons
  • Small change
