Works but you need to find the correct instructions and plug

The instructions are nowhere to be found and when I finally found the seller's (Seeed) instructions they were outdated. The correct instructions can be found in the Gateways section of TheThings website. My unit also only came with a Type I (Australia, New Zealand, China) plug, which isn't great in the US. Luckily, the USB-C port works just fine, but requires an extra cable and adapter.

Pros
  • Pleasant to use
Cons
  • old

Easy setup and use of LoRaWAN services in The Things Network

This gateway is already assembled and ready to use. Plug it in and follow a few very simple steps to log into your Things Network account. It took me about 10 minutes to create an account, read the instructions, set up the gateway and get ready to host LoRa nodes. Note that this is an internal gateway only. Plugs into a regular outlet.

Pros
  • Expensive but decent
Cons
  • Nothing

Works great once set up

Took me over five minutes to get this working. But now that it's set up, it works great. It really needs a good WiFi signal during setup to update the firmware, but then it works great even with limited WiFi. It has been working for two days, there are no glitches.

Pros
  • Best in class
Cons
  • I'll add later

I can't connect it, but that doesn't mean it's a bad product.

The device appears to work as advertised and my lack of knowledge of how it works with the web of things is probably the only thing keeping it from working 100%. I'm not one to rate this, giving it less stars because I can't figure it out. From what little information I have, it looks like it does what it says on the box.

Pros
  • Large selection
Cons
  • So-so

Plug and play works well with routers

Very easy to set up (via Wi-Fi or USB). I got mine up and running in 5 minutes. I can't wait to start integrating LoRa devices in my home.

Pros
  • Works great for me
Cons
  • Poorly thought out

It works! Computers & Accessories

I bought this for a project and it works! I can transmit data from my end node to TNN. I used LG01-P at first and it didn't work, but it works!

Pros
  • Heavy Duty Construction
Cons
  • No Automatic
