Appears to be of good quality. Unfortunately, the grip portion did not snap into the rod portion when attached. If you compare this to the original you can see that the wire clip was about 1/4 inch lower on the original. This was for the NV500W model.

I love my Shark. But the weakest link is the hose/stick, which breaks at the bend. This is a good substitute for him. This is the second hose/hose I have bought for this 6 year old vacuum cleaner. I hope this lasts as long as the vacuum cleaner.

This replacement is a great alternative to replacing a vacuum cleaner when the original hose has snapped. The only small problem is that it is slightly different from the original, so releasing the button and connecting the handle is not as smooth as the original. A small annoyance, but not a real problem.

I have found that I have a tear in my vacuum hose just below the grip. You can separate the hose from the handle, so you have to buy a complete handle. It was a great purchase, at a price much better than the Shark online store price. This is perfect for my vacuum cleaner. Looks good and currently still working.

I thought I need to buy a new vacuum cleaner. but the reason is this handle. I think it just overshadows itself over time. The simple fact that they have that part tells me it probably happens a lot. I don't care if it doesn't match my gray vacuum cleaner. Who cares. It's important to me that I won't have to buy a new vacuum cleaner in a year! Easy to install. Works well. The only downside is detaching the handle from the main body. I've never had to push the button so hard to detach the original hose. With this hose you have to press the button hard enough to hear a click. For me, this action requires pressure from both thumbs. Just be aware of those who may have arthritis or other issues that prevent them from squeezing hard enough to release the hose.

the only thing wrong with this product is that the handle part no longer automatically locks when you put it back in the vacuum, you have to put it in the locking position ( red button under the handle) to snap onto the long part of the suction tube, this is a very minor inconvenience but this part replaced my original hose which splintered and lost suction.
