🧱 Thoro T1669 1 Gallon Waterproofing Sealer Review

According to my experience, the Thoro T1669 gallon did not live up to its claims. Although it is labeled for industrial and scientific use, it did not hold up in my construction project. The glue had a strong odor and was difficult to apply evenly. The only pro was that it did dry quickly. However, the cons outweighed any benefits as it did not provide a strong enough bond and caused my project to fail.

This is the same substance that fashion lime and milk paint manufacturers sell as an additive. I have used it to make casein paint, as a binder for lime and also as a primer for lime. It worked great for all applications.

Easy to use. Base ratio: 1 acrylic 60 to: 2 or 3 water to first make a mortar and then add this mixture to Thoroseal Waterproofing Putty. Dilute with water to desired consistency. A flat spatula is used for application. Creates a textured design. Toxic mask used during blending and application. The smell quickly dissipated, removing the mask.
