Easy Solution for Stripped Threads!

I purchased a thread repair kit for my automotive project and am extremely happy with the results. Through trial and error, I found that these thread kits are the best on the market. The easy to follow instructions made the repair process a breeze and saved me a lot of time and effort. The added benefit of having all the necessary tools in one kit is a huge plus. The only downside is the price, but it's well worth the investment for the quality and convenience it provides.

Pros
  • Comprehensive repair kit includes all necessary tools and materials to quickly and easily repair damaged threads.
Cons
  • Only suitable for repairing a limited range of thread sizes and types.

Perma-Coil 1/4-20 fits tools and equipment

Works as advertised. The supplied faucet is of good quality and does not rattle when tapping. Always remember to lubricate the faucet with oil or grease as this will improve the end result and greatly extend the life of the faucet. I am very happy that this is a "Made in the USA" set. I will buy perma coil kits if I need different size coils in the future.

Pros
  • Thread Repair Kits
Cons
  • Coil Price

So it didn't fit my collar. "Square" is not centered on the axis of the tap, which means the tap is likely cutting the threads a little too large or not round, which I drilled…
