Short Shelf Life

Product as advertised. Unfortunately, the newly received tubes have an expiry date of October 17th. There are not enough hours in the day to consume the product before it expires.

Pros
  • Consistent Test Results
Cons
  • High Price

Good gasket maker but expiry date is too short

I bought this gasket maker to restore the engine on my Suzuki motorcycle. I give him 2 stars because he is only 5 months old. Will most likely return.

  • Absolute legend

Item had an expiry date of one month when delivered

Ordered 13th May 2020 Delivered 16th May 2020 So far so good. Until I opened the package and saw that the expiry date was 06/2020. From a very dissatisfied customer.

Pros
  • Easy to read control panel
Cons
  • Doubtful

What the pros use to build engines

This is the same product I have used as a Suzuki mechanic for many years. Engines. It works just as easily as Yamabond or Hondabond but isn't fibrous (you know what I mean if you've used them 😂 It's easy to use and remove when it's time to rebuild.

  • Certified

Hondabond HT Alternative

I used this location for a new camshaft oil seal in my Honda B18B1 engine as shown. I retightened the camshaft cover bolts and after 15 minutes tightened 4 bolts. I start the engine after 45 minutes and drive 10 minutes. The next day I didn't notice any oil leaking through the RTV seal. Unlike the Hondabond (which came in two different packages), the Threebond package didn't tear at the bottom on first use. Update: after 2 years. use and use half of the package, the package is not torn yet…

Pros
  • GOLS Certified
Cons
  • Questionable purchase for elderly

Three-Bond is the best RTV in my opinion

Has a limited shelf life. It's also not as thick as the bubble wrap you find at auto parts stores. You don't need much and it's quick to install. All of that is good. It's too easy to abuse the RTV's fat body. Excessive use of RTV increases extrusion and is BAD. Extruded bullets, especially small ones, can get into the narrow passages of engines and gearboxes when dropped. When this happens, everything can get clogged with very bad consequences. Three-Bond cannot cause excessive extrusion. It…

Great product, although not long expired.

Product arrived exactly as described in an undamaged sealed tube. This is a very effective liquid pad that I highly recommend, especially for high vibration motorsports. In addition, the supplied nozzle has a wide variety of diameters for the perfect application. The only reason I took off a star is because it only expires in a few months. If you don't rebuild multiple engines within a few months, they will definitely expire before you can use them all. I fix this by storing it in airtight…
