Works great but confirms as others have said

Works great but confirms as others have said you have to disassemble the rear bracket with a screwdriver to change the strap/clip position (this is for sure and not just removing it like the factory t2.) There's no way this thing can ever get on a fat tire, but once you change the position it works fine. Holds tight and overall nicer design than the old t2 rear mount I had previously.

Expensive and fragile, but essential for transporting fat bikes

For the most part it does what it's designed to do and if you're planning to haul a 5" fat bike on your rack then you need it. However, there are some things related to it. a product I don't like. First of all, it's the price. Charging $50 from your customers who have already paid a decent amount of money for the rack itself seems to have an advantage. It's $100 if the person wants to switch from either side of their outside line ($200 if you're also using an extension). Second, the buckle is…

A few problems you may encounter with this adapter

I ran into some problems setting up this adapter. First note that this adapter will work, but only if you have a newer T2 XTR rack. I had an older T2 - it's about 5-6 years old. The problem is that the ratchet arm that goes over your front wheel doesn't reach far enough to go through the fat tire. I called Tula and they confirmed it. Apparently the old struts have shorter levers than the new ones. So I have to buy a new extension cord for this adapter to work. They don't have this information…

Pros
  • Excellent overall performance
Cons
  • I have doubts
