Macs and iPhones need a million ports to work and any old legacy technology like old projectors needs a port like this adapter. I ordered 7 of these for my team and each one was well packaged and works great. Thank you for a quality product!

As we have an old projector but a new MacBook Air this was a must have. Don't leave home without one and I would suggest buying 2 so you always have a backup in case you leave one or come into your conference room and find it back in your hotel room. Indispensable.

There is no driver for this product on the manufacturer's website and the Mac did not automatically detect it. I can't use it to add an ad. Waiting for a response from their tech support. I will update this review if anything changes, but if not I will have to return the product.

Works exactly as described. I use it on my 2016 MacBook Pro which only supports USB-C. My only problem is that my colleagues "borrowed" it several times and "forgot" to return it. It just works and works well. With this adapter you get a great price-performance ratio. There is no doubt about it.

The only USB-C adapter that lets you use dual monitors (in addition to the laptop monitor). I connect my VGA to these and my HDMI can go straight to the laptop. Other adapters I've tried allow dual monitors but only mirror the main monitor. This allows for an expanded display.

I received this on September 16, 2019 and wrote on November 4, 2019 about how it broke. I used it about once or twice a week for about 7 weeks, only on weekends. and today I decided not to work at all. When it worked for me it was amazing, very good picture and I was able to use my wireless mouse with my Macbook Pro without any problems. However, I didn't pay $60 just to only use this hub a dozen or so times. I'm willing to change my rating if the company responds to me about a replacement.

This adapter worked great initially, no complaints. But after about 7 months I started having noise on the video display. It looks like faint horizontal static stripes on the screen. Fortunately, I only use this monitor for side tasks. If this was my main monitor I would have to replace this adapter with a better one. I'll be patient until it gets worse.

This converter uses 4.5W of power and gets very hot. And I mean dangerously hot. so hot that the glue used to pot the board melted and bled, almost sticking to my VGA cable and ruining the non-replaceable VGA cable on my Dell CRT. The picture quality was good, but now I cut off the VGA connector from my monitor and soldered a new one. Stay away!

I have two monitors with two inputs (DVI/VGA) and wanted to use them with my Mac Mini (2020). I use two DVI ports with my work computer, so I would have to use the Mini's VGA ports. I ordered two of these to use with the Mini, thinking it would be easier than trying to use the HDMI port with an active HDMI/VGA adapter. One of them will work for sure, but not two.
