Thunderbolt distributor cap

It doesn't seem to fit exactly like it should and the threads on the bleed adapter are different than the threads in the cap. Had to use a faucet and stamp on the vent to install it

Does the aftermarket fit as well as Mercury or Factory?

The rotor button fits well but the cap does not fit over the rim of the distributor housing. Tried sanding the cap to fit but no luck. So let's try to contact the seller for a replacement or refund. In the meantime, replacing all the parts I've replaced that were good, the fuel that tows my boat on the water, and finally paying the boat mechanic, it's cost me almost $1000. Do yourself a…
