annoying loudest among computers and accessories

The docking station works and I've had no problems with dual monitors, but it has an internal fan that runs at full speed almost all the time making it loud and annoying. It starts the moment I plug it into my computer, and sometimes even when it's not connected. Dell support said it works fine and the fan is for cooling, but my PC also has a fan and I never hear it. The dock works well, but it's an annoying constant noise

Not New Thunderbolt

I received the item thinking I bought a WD19TB, but I received what appears to be a refurbished WD19DC with OEM expansion with dual USB-C. At first glance, it looks like a universal MacBook and laptop. Connect 2 devices side-by-side (which conflicts with the need for Thunderbolt). After a superficial examination, I noticed further inconsistencies. If it's not the new Thunderbolt 4, be careful.

This seller is a scammer

This dock was sold to me as new and was a return for Dell. There were issues with the docking station and Dell stated that this service tag should be returned to Dell as a defective item for which they sent a replacement. Purchase at your own risk.

Not new Thunderbolt

I received the item thinking I had purchased a WD19TB but received what appeared to be a refurbished WD19DC with a different manufacturer's dual USB-C extender . At first glance, it looks like a universal MacBook and laptop. Connect 2 devices side-by-side (which conflicts with the need for Thunderbolt). After a superficial examination, I noticed further inconsistencies. If it's not the new Thunderbolt 4, be careful.
