Description of Timber Wolf Bandsaw Blade Alternate Cutting Tools
For green or exotic wood available in 3/8" and 1/2" x 3 tpi. These blades are .032 thick, have an alternate set and a unique rake angle of 8.5 degrees.
I bought a stand for my band saw that allows you to change the blade size from 93.5 to 105 inches. The blade in the riser set worked, but not very well. I figured it was probably part of a bandsaw since it's an old center machine saw. After I bought them I saw what I was missing. What is the importance of a good saw blade? Cuts logs and saws through with ease.
These Timberwolf blades are the best blades I have ever used. I primarily cut green wood for bowl blanks and these blades cut very quickly with little resistance. The cutting edge lasts a long time, but after hitting a stuck stone or metal, it's quick to sharpen at home. I use a dremel wheel and it takes about 10 minutes to resharpen a 105 inch blade. I have tried many cheaper blades but none compare to Timberwold.

It was really weird because the box said 3/8" and that's what I ordered, but the 3/4" blade was actually packaged in it. I could have sent it back but decided to keep it for myself instead. I know it's a cliche, but this blade actually cuts like butter. I took the opportunity to adjust the bandsaw guides, align the wheels etc and am very happy with this purchase. Obviously a 3/4 inch blade is better for…
