Socks appear to be well tailored, good elasticity but not too tight. I'm a size 9.5 to 12 and the heel barely goes up to my heel size 10.5 (too small). I think people who are a size 11 or 12 will be very disappointed.

I walked on the rocks with them but I fell in a puddle got my whole foot wet it would be nice if they were waterproof like my boots. On the other hand I have used them again for bending over, they are thick and keep my feet warm. I also like the design, very stylish.

Excellent - especially for hiking in different climate zones. Not too bulky so you can wear thin lining or ankle high athletic socks, which is what I do. No blisters after 20+ hours of hiking! Five stars!

I was expecting very thick socks as I am from a tropical country visiting the US in winter and when they arrived I was disappointed in them. But that's not the case, and I've learned that thick socks aren't necessary. They fit perfectly, don't tend to sag when walking (in boots and sneakers) and the compression is comfortable. Good product.

I have to admit I'm tired of socks that don't fit or are cheaply made. So I added a bit and ended up with a great fit and comfortable toes. I can't tell what warm feet cost, especially on a slope. So if you like having fun but don't want to miss an opportunity to stay warm and comfortable; This is your luxury.
