Other reviews cover this product pretty well but my only gripe is that for $130 each of the tools should fit in the same standard cordless drill chuck. You need a different jig for each approx, which is frustrating as these repairs are more or less demanding and the inability to insert tools (namely a drill) into a cordless drill chuck makes an accurate repair very difficult. I used a standard socket adapter to use a 12 point socket in combination with a drill as recommended by Time-sert…

Fits metric inserts and kits

I used this to repair a stripped oil pan thread on a 2003 Land Rover Discovery 2. The first thing to know is that the inserts are 12.7mm deep (part number 14155), this is not listed in the product description. Inserts are available in a variety of depths, ensure you order the correct kit for your application or order the correct inserts separately.
