Didn't work on my Lenovo CTO laptop but not sure if it's me or the product.

I'm offering an honest evaluation of the product based on what I thought I was getting for my laptop, but the modules ended up beeping. I'm not willing to consider this a DOA while I investigate further, and if that doesn't work I'll probably still reserve RAM for a future upgrade on a similar machine.

Memory for HP laptop

I opened my laptop and found factory DIMMs. Based on this information, it was possible to acquire this large memory. When the new memory arrived, I replaced the 1G DIMM with a new 4G DIMM. The system started without problems and Windows showed new memory. Of course it's faster.

Significant performance increase

DIMMs were used in the Dell Latitude 6410 to increase the RAM speed from 4 Mbps to 8 Mbps. They worked better than expected and also fixed a calculation issue. The previous owner upgraded the computer and installed a 1067MHz DIMM card instead of 1066MHz cards. The computer kept giving us startup problems. Mau works great. No more loading problems, programs open much faster and smoother.

Great price, it's worth it!

So I'm selling my 17" Dell and trying to get by with my old 2008 MacBook. It was running out of memory (2GB). I bought an update for and installed it the other day and WHAT THE DIFFERENCE! This one 11 year old computer is as fast as any chromebook in the store! With the current operating system I can use all new browsers (old mac os problem) and other linux applications. I like the idea of breathing new life into old things, it is the ultimate redesign.
