Unfortunately the new tape came in a sealed package with no clasp. The pin that was supposed to hold the buckle was bent in the middle. Apparently the strap was badly damaged *before* it was placed in the sealed bag and no one noticed. to the new group. I have had this watch and THIS bracelet for a month now. I bought a plain black strap to replace the horrible checkered strap the watch originally had. The $16 BRONGER Twill Slip-thru Nylon Watchband is a much better quality single-pass strap with sleek hardware, the correct 20mm width, and the standard 1.2mm NATO thickness.
